Mach E is fine, but it should have been Mach E without Mustang attached.

Now all they need is an electric Thunderbird to compete with the Corvette. They could even make it FR-like so it could have all the glorious cargo room the Vette gave up going MR.

My guess is that it’s going to be a 300ZX.
It’ll have the 3.0 turbo from Infiniti, in 340-ish and 420-ish HP.

[**Spoilers for Falcon&WS ahead**]

So, is this the size of a Venza/CRV or Highlander/Pilot?

They already have a dedicated RWD coupe in the RC.
Literally some gearing changes and tuning could have netted them their own Supra, with rear seats!

Yeah, it’s a bit fat and heavy, (3800lbs) but that’s nothing some aluminum couldn’t fix. With judicious application of aluminum body panels (doors, fenders, roof panel,

The problem with that is finding one that someone wants to sell.

Fenske skewered the charging interface on Engineering Explained.
As he explained it, it’s a PITA, and for me, defo not worth the money based on that alone.

Is it required that I wear undies while piloting this rig?

We need serious electrical infrastructure investment before this can happen nation wide. I don’t know if California is equipped to handle 20% of the civilian fleet changing to electric by 2035 (estimate for new car sales turnover), let alone every single car on the road (a theoretical much later goal).

MR2 - Toyota already has WAY BETTER hybrid tech than BMW. I think an MR2 as a Hybrid makes a lot of sense for a weekender, and you design the unibody so that you can accommodate a full EV as your first refresh, so you can hammer out those last few EV bugs.

It was about 2004, and I was still in college. There was an ad in the local paper for a black 1991 Acura NSX for $16,900, with 110k miles. It would have been quite a payment for me at the time, but I probably could have swung it.

Yeah. I didn’t.

You would have had WAY MORE FUN.

Go listen to an F-Type and get back to me.

It just hit me, this is probably the swansong for the UR group V8s in non-trucks.

Everything from here on out is going to be a V35 V6 or a variant of the V35.

Umm, YES PLEASE.

Are these EVs like a Tesla, or EREVs like a Volt?

You’re all wrong.
Import this from Germany.

1st: Is the predator face going away!?

The Highlander Hybrid uses this V6 (2GR) with a hybrid assist. Retuned to Lotus levels of power with forced induction, it won’t suck.
