I thought all of the defenders getting behind the receivers was odd when they should have been in a position to knock the ball down.

The ticky-tackiest of calls but I could see why it was called in real time, with the contact and the helmet turning. It was an unfavorable call but not a phantom one.

You start counting on the Lions to win, this is what you get.

I agree, but from the ref’s perspective yards away and seeing the helmet turn, I do understand the quick flag.

So what? Once the call is made you should still be able to stop a Hail Mary. And even if it was a wrong call, it wasn’t a horrible call.
