oooh, I’m glad it’s not your house! I watch a lot of stupid horror movies, you know, and so I know for a fact that stuff like that never works out well.

That’s not your house, is it? That would creep me out.

agreed. this is pretty trivial, for him, but I liked the title.

Here’s one for William Gay and his excessive celebration penalty (which was totally worth it) because it’s so peculiar that joy is a sin in the NFL. Ain’t it?

+1 bag of cookie crumbs.

I salute you! You have the golden touch, apparently!

Is he not the best? I know you’ll post that selfie of the two of you here at DUAN once you get it!

Possibly. I prefer the image of Phill in his craft room whipping up quilts on his days off, though.

Gosh. That’s a bit of a shocker.

Allen Toussaint died just recently. I don’t know if we had an Allen Toussaint commemoration here when that happened, since I’ve been in and out, but anyway, here’s some of his excellent piano playing, along with Elvis Costello, doing “Ascension Day”

And literally thousands of quilts, too.

maybe the Saints will pick him up.

Truth. She’s had some adventures. Odd probably feels normal, though, right, especially when she was younger?

Same here!!! It just gives me a rash and a tight feeling in my chest. I’m sure the Stepford Wives listen to Lawrence Welk.

Yeah, I saw that, it must have been so exciting for him, but a bit odd for her though I suppose she’s used to her dad getting in the way of her personal life at this point....

OK, according the OP on youtube this is nineteen seventy freaking eight. I start to get an anxiety attack about 38 seconds in, at best.

Well sure, creepy as hell. But, lets consider what Lawrence Welk used to come up with. Wait, let me see if I can find something representative.....

You know, I was just reading about Nic Cage yesterday evening (because I love Ghost Rider and was watching it again) and either forgot or never knew that he (Cage) has a big thing for Elvis. Once you know that, you realize that he’s doing a subtle Elvis impersonation throughout that movie. Which fits right in, I feel.

You must be so proud!!! I love a creative approach to illustrated story telling!!!

I’m so sorry to hear this as well. I don’t have any parents left living, it’s such an empty thing. I miss them more the older I get, missing them as people as well as as parents. I hope you have good family support around you now. Big hug.
