I still get email updates from the Larimar County Landfill (long story) so I know the weather is up to something when they send one out advising closure, or snow mobiles, or whatever. Plus, I was listening to Denver sports talk radio on Monday afternoon to see how they were dealing with….things…. (remarkably calm, on

Sick with jealousy. Sorry. Traffic is nasty in such weather for sure. People always forget from one winter to the next how to drive in it.

Nah. This was always a stalker song. It’s one of the reasons it took me a long time to warm up to Sting.

Aren’t you guys having blizzards, or something? All we have is wind.

Great wardrobe, too.

I so wish I could get this out of the grey. This is the best ever.

Yeah, I’ll feel like an idiot forever for thinking this team was going to be exciting (in a good way) before the season started. I’ve realized now it’s because I believed in actual magic. Actual magic doesn’t exist, as it turns out.

Also, the delete button is a true treasure, I only recently learned how to use it. Much like the mute button on the TV, which I keep trying to use on my one whinny, demanding old dog, with lamentable results.

That’s enormously hopeful to me. I’m particularly glad to hear that they appreciate the thoughtful and well-written response, I very much enjoy the real conversations that take place in the comment section. It’s one of the most important things that makes me so devoted to the place.

Well, I’m just rambling, you know. I mean, maybe it just got lost in the shuffle. This is an interesting lab for studying what’s funny and why, that’s for sure.

hero of mine, I mean. Though, he’s kind of a hero of mind, I guess….

It’s in no worse taste than many of the other ones, though. I mean, to me personally it’s not for joking, but many others didn’t feel that way about it, and DS likes to laugh at everything (an ER sense of humor around here, it seems to me in general, which works for me mostly).

Well, probably from his point of view. I’m not real competitive, so I’d just think it was an honor to be there at all. But, that’s why I’ll never be there, I guess. (well, that’s one of the reasons, anyway….)

woot!!

yes, my older cousin was heavily into Grand Funk Railroad. Love them.

Thank you!!! I love the way he’s just swinging that guitar around like it’s a well loved lady.

Now playing

Here’s T-Bone Walker with “Goin to Chicago”. According to the OP, this is November 1966 in London. Look at the line up; Dizzy Gillespie, Teddy Wilson, Louis Bellson, Clark Terry, Coleman Hawkins, Zoot Sims, Jimmy Moody, Benny Carter and Bob Cranshaw.

Yes, and what I’m saying is that different people have different needs when it comes to cooking. Drummond has plenty of stuff on her site that is from scratch. I don’t use box stuff, so I skip recipes or suggestions that contain them, but some people enjoy an occasional excursion into that realm and it doesn’t make

What’s wrong with that? Not everyone has time or energy to cook everything strait from scratch every time.

Things are a lot more complicated that I realized!
