Awesome! Thanks for the head's up!
Awesome! Thanks for the head's up!
Her "Happy Hooker" book is great. I learned how to crochet from this Youtube channel, I recommend it, very easy to follow along: [www.youtube.com]
Gah, my eyes! That's enough to put me back in the psych ward. Thanks!
Yes, because having a father who committed suicide and living with a junkie mother (that she was removed from before the age of 18) is negated by having millions in royalties. Not to mention the predisposition to bipolar disorder since her father had it and who knows if her mother also suffers from mental illness. And…
Those eyes have seen more in 18 years than most people will ever see in their lifetime. It makes my heart ache.
I see where you are coming from, but it is more that she is a compulsive liar and the characters/situations seem to be used to cover lies. If she were to be schizophrenic (where delusions and fantasy worlds/people are a major part of the illness), she would have been diagnosed as such. It seems like it is more trying…
Thank you for answering, having experience with mental health issues, I'm always curious when it comes to the topic.
Thank you very much for the info. I thought she was evaluated, but I didn't follow the trial that closely. I find it interesting that she was not diagnosed, but then all of a sudden she now has mental issues.
I didn't follow the trial too closely, but were her mental health issues ever brought up prior to this?
I would do the exact same thing. Better to get the exam out of the way so there's no stress of trying to find time to take it again after the baby is born. Sounds like passing the bar exam would be very beneficial for her and her newborn's future. If the hospital is across the street, why shouldn't someone do that?…
Amy admitted to having bipolar disorder in an interview. Sure, low self-esteem can go hand-in-hand, but her death was a lot more complicated, and she was self-destructive because that's what the disorder does to the brain. Look at the 27 club and how many members were bipolar. Not really much of a coincidence. Unless…
Win! My favorite bubble tape commercial was the that had "Your dad's never been to a heavy metal concert" and "Your mom's never had a mohawk..." Good times.
That is definitely an awesome lineup! Man, Nickelodeon had some amazing shows. *Sigh*. I miss the good ol' days...
Roundhouse was freaking amazing! Nobody else ever has a clue when I bring it up.
Is it just me or does he look like he took 2 oxys and 50mg of klonopin? Or a lil' bit of the good ol' ghb? Can't figure it out, his eyes look either really stoned or dead.
Exactly. I studied theology in college and it is amazing how many similarities there are, it's as though they are really the same G-d, just with different names.
I was fortunate that I was taken off my meds (my doc wanted to ween me, but I ended up doing cold turkey. Bad, bad, bad idea with Paxil and Depakote) and the first 4 months I was able to nurse before I started going crazy again once post-partem depression mixed with the bipolar. It was the most difficult thing to have…
It seems like many tortured souls are not only talented, but when you sit down and speak to them, you know you are speaking with a very intelligent individual. I've seen this multiple times in psych wards, and have known many addicts.
You have excellent points. There is much more to it than the simple "ooooh I want to drink/shoot up/bump because that's what the cool kids do!" I agree, I haven't had a drink in 4 years, and when I go to clubs now, I have much more fun, and I could care less if anyone drinks as long as they aren't acting like a…
My heart goes out to you and your family. I was in the same boat as your brother. Unfortunately, it takes hitting rock bottom for him to realize he needs help. It took an overdose and 2 stays in a psych ward for me to finally take it seriously. When an addict/someone who is mentally ill goes into self-destructive mode…
