I'm actually a cat

That makes far too much sense—idk why I thought they stayed on all fours. Of course they would want to have a look about, check for danger, etc. And now I know they eat guava flowers, which is unbearably cute (!) I feel massively dumb for not knowing how bunnies work already, but less dumb now. Thank you 😊

That’s a gigantic (and...bipedal?) bun! It looks soft, and on a leash? Harmless! 10/10, would pet.

The bunny on the leash is not a nightmare! I would be so excited to see that kangaroo-bunny hybrid hopping down the sidewalk that I would shove people out of the way so I could pet it.

Holy shit. I am so sorry. That would have wrecked me and my trust in partners.

<3 <3 Kids can be carelessly cruel (to others but also to themselves, I think) when they're trying to adapt and fit in. My sister was the misplaced target of my bitterness and hostility into adulthood, which was just...so shitty. We both (separately) got into therapy in our 20s, and found listening and

Tangentially related by way of Brian Wilson: for anyone into podcasts and/or Old Hollywood, check out “You Must Remember This”. Karina Longworth is a fabulous historian! I got hooked after listening to the Manson series (one? episode of which dove deep into the Wilson-Melcher-Manson connection).

This deserves so many more stars. Stars made of Reese’s. *salutes*

Oh! I’m (happily, boringly) fine now—thank you for asking <3

UGH! Oh my god, how many of those guys are out there? I met one as a teenager, too. It went down on the bus home from school ~20 years ago. He was the basketball/track heartthrob, I was a loner/stoner. But we sat together and were always friendly. Out of nowhere, in front of everyone, this happened:

Obviously, a Frownie. From 2005.

;)

Right? The cynical part of me is smirking at how hidden-in-plain-sight our shop(pe)s could be, too. Life imitating art imitating life.

Oh, like how Prison Break returned 7 YEARS after the finale/main character’s “death”? *silently fumes*

Ahaha—omg my mom does stuff like that to my dad 😂 So naturally I extrapolate Barack to being like “WAIT. This isn’t my Easter shirt...?” And the interns *stage gasping* “Whaaat! Of COURSE it is! Now put it on, time to go!”

You know, until this post I never noticed when Barack repeated outfits because (toootally objective swoon factor aside) no one has ever pointed it out to me before. Isn’t that weird? I LOVED when we got secondhand coverage of Michelle repeating outfits. “Repeat outfits on FLOTUS” struck me one of the *many* things
