At 6'3", I still manage to sit in my NA Miata with my arms fully outstretched, just like I do in my P71 Vic. I must not have any ethics whatsoever.

Oh, man, I feel so bad for you. There is NO upside to autonomous cars. And I thought I'd just have to hate automatic-only cars. Ever heard of taxis? Hell, do what I did. Find a great local bar, and move a block away from it. Drive the crap out of your car. Come home. Walk to bar. Walk home. WIN!!!
I'm guessing you're young, and have not been sufficiently exposed to sarcasm yet. Trust me, I will never be be driven in a car except for an ambulance or a hearse. And I hope they hoon the crap out of them while I'm in them.
Until they invent a Self-Hooning car, I'll just keep driving myself, thanks.
Could we call them Utopian Tubes?
Well, Raymond Loewy did design the Avanti.
Henry Leland picked up the pieces of an early Ford effort, and under his vision implemented the rigorous interchangeability standards that propelled Cadillac to high stature. And, yes, Henry Ford's money bought Lincoln. You can thank the unfortunately named Edsel Ford for making that happen.
Inserts face into palm. Again. I'm going back to bed.
Mike, you seem like a very nice, reasonable guy. Can we trade for a couple hours? You can have my '90 Miata or my '00 Vic Interceptor. Maybe I can get my friend's CTS-V coupe 6-speed. And pizza.
Oh how I want one. I had a '71 Bus and a '77 Westy. Their charms will never be lost on me.
I'm fine with them dropping the crest, but I think incorporating the "V" would be an iconic tie-in with the past. Perhaps lesser models could forgo the "V", but it most definitely should front and center on the V-Series models. And call the thing Eldorado while you're at it.
I live in Florida. I am from Baltimore. Baltimore, please do not inspire a Bugs Bunny gif involving a saw. Ah lub yous, hoin,
Wow. You could not be more wrong.
I miss my old '65 Thunderbird. But it has clearly had it's magic blinkered ass handed to it. Bonus points for anyone who can tell me the other, non-Ford, car that came with sequential rear signals.
If I were ever in Australia and saw a right hand drive AMC Matador, I would immediately find a bar and start drinking many beers. Actually, I would probably do that anyway.
