Pardon my burnout creating colleague there. Some of us use our Mustangs to achieve grip and handling on top of the straight line tire shredding power.

Yet every autox in MY area they are done by "The Furrin Group" —- here is one held on MSU Campus. Tell me going at high speed between parking lot islands with curbs is smart. Or with light poles on the outside of corners.

Problem is most autocrosses are done in parking lots plagued with curbs and lights... I'd rather go off course on a road course with runoff room than lose it on an autocross and total the car..

The workers get to go home and earn 75-80% of their wages until the plant reopens. They get a year off while the major reconstruction happens. Some will float to other plants and earn full wages. Some will take the lesser pay.

Where in the fuck did they get those prices? Holy shit. I need to get back in to the performance industry I guess.

No love for the guy who answered Ford Mustang before anyone else? :( Instead credit to the guy who got tree'd by over 10 minutes? :(

The Ford Mustang has ALWAYS had a distinct sound. Whether it be a Small Block Ford or a Ford Mod motor...

A properly equipped small block Ford with a carb (or any small block for that matter with the emissions BS removed) looks great in my opinion. Get it down to the basics and let it perform! Above is what I have thrown together in my car....

yup - it's titled as a Hennessey... NOT a Lotus. Just because they share a front end and rear end doesn't mean much.

Also, the reviews you find from September of the ATS that use the 2.0T with the manual transmission are using a car with a non-current/non-production transmission and their complaints about shifter feel are fixed.

I have driven both. I also work in the industry.

ATS is a better chassis by far. The BMW's got softer while the Cadillac's suspension/chassis/ride got WAY better.

^ This.

There are things I see the union useful for. Like I said, they have helped me in situations and other times have caused me headaches. I see unions needing to modernize more, and that I agree upon......but there are still times they are needed.

Also, I cannot tell you how many engineers or mba's have been proven wrong by us "line workers" telling them something will NOT work. I am not saying MBA's and engineers are idiots and we're smarter than them, but just because you have a degree doesn't mean you know what you're doing when it comes down to actually

Also, don't think we're mindless drones. I've been a part of redesigning the way things are installed on the car to improve costs and efficiency including changing part designs and working with engineers. It's a passion of mine building cars.

I am a UAW worker. I make $17.20/hr. My pay cap is less than $20/hr. Tell me where I am making too much money? The physical demands of a factory job are there. My health coverage is not what the workers of old got. My retirement is like everyone elses - a self funded 401K. My health benefits? I get health coverage,

Nissan Leaf if your journey is over 40 miles....

I've been at the track with him. That car rolls strong.
