Mary Elizabeth Winstead, christmas cookie scene, hilarious plot twists. I think it was actually one of the first slasher movies I ever saw. Nice balance of comedy and horror, may not hold up if I were to watch it again

I also really enjoyed the book. I had seen the movie first (good cast) and was later blown away by all that had been omitted. I think a new adaptation could still be really good in the right hands.  A series would be a wise choice.
