My dog would be sooooooo annoying on coke.

you trying to get the pipe?

I just snorted so god damn loud. +1

You can. There’s not the expectation of it, but if it’s a place you like or you’re just a generous cat, it’s not like they’ll just leave the money on the counter.

From my experience on the other side of the counter, this is the general consensus among restaurant employees:

I have no idea. This is one of a million reasons we need to get rid of tipping, pay servers more, and roll everything into slightly more expensive food.

I usually tip on take out and I don’t make much money and live in a city with one of the highest costs of living in the US. For me, and this is just for me, I just feel that if I can afford to go somewhere for food or drinks or whatever, I can afford to also tip. Again, that’s just me. Mostly because I’m just a

Please tell me who the Black Panthers or Nation of Islam has murdered in our history as a nation? I’m curious because the KKK have murdered thousands!

“When will [I] remember that Albert Pujols was great?” Literally every time I hear the name. He was one of the top stars in baseball for my formative years, he’s about to reach a career milestone and to hell with how long it took to get there, and he played on 2 World Series championship teams.

I agree that he has kinda fallen out of public attention, and I blame that mostly on playing on a bad West Coast team that has the best player in baseball. Only so much attention anyone can give the Angels.

Someone needs to give him a certificate that says “most likely to be a terrorist.”

MLB has a phenom who is doing things we’ve never seen, and they have absolutely no idea how to market him. He’s the LeBron James of his sport and most people have no idea who he is.

A baseball player’s peak is usually around age 28. Power tends to increase with age. Trout’s a big guy, but he doesn’t have the huge body that tends to break down and become a major liability defensively and on the basepaths after age 30.

Just more 4-D chess by the Greatest Dealmaker Ever!

Not sure where you are but generally speaking, most everything, everywhere in America is extremely white lol.

Not sure where you are but club soccer is extremely white in most parts of this country.

I too think it is hilariously hypocritical the way people have different reactions to varying stories.

Though I’m guessing the problem is more acute at HBCUs because of relatively low endowments/donations and limited applicant pool.

The need to retire professors with 40+ years of tenure (making them by definition 80ish and very highly paid) to make room for younger blood (tenure to professors in their 40s) is hardly unique to HBCUs. This problem exists in all US colleges and universities; private, state, and parochial, and has allowed the

I JUST posted on FB “WTH is going on at some of these HBCUs?”

I just graduated from Tennessee State after an almost-20 year gap in school, and the administration at that school is beyond comical, and it appears to be so at many of the other HBCUs from all the folks I talked to.
