'I'm tired of you lackwits who seem to feel that complaining actually achieves something.'

...and yet.... you're complaining.

'No one HAS to accommodate you because you're offended.'

Works both ways, though — no one has to stay quiet when they're offended. People are free to be assholes and other people are free to call assholes assholes. It's a lovely circle.

It's like with this recent DUCK DYNASTY silliness. People on the right were moaning

I don't mean in an 'offensive' sense, I mean that internet forums and such seem to cater to hyperbole and heightened rhetoric. Heavy words lightly thrown.

I actually think the opposite tends to be true on the internet — words aren't taken seriously enough.

oh YOU!!

Didn't they make it pretty clear when GTAv launched that GTAO would not be feature complete, that it would take some time to get all elements up and running, etc....? I seem to remember that they did. I certainly went into GTAO with little expectations......

If it's not your thing, it's not your thing. I like a lot of indie games, too. Playing ROGUE LEGACY right now, loving it. But I also liked GTA V.

Thanks! :)

Also, it's worth noting — they will probably never make what you'd call a 'proper Devil May Cry game' again.

OMG that is a great GIF. And I haven't even played Revengeance.

I love that Prince of Persia.

Nope.

Just goes to show you don't need to make the best game to be a success on iTunes, and having the best game on iTunes doesn't necessarily mean overwhelming success. What an odd market we've cultivated.

Hahaha. I know what you mean. Like when high brow and low brow hold hands and work together, it can be such a beautiful, wondering, (and entertaining!) thing.

But they too often act like they're not allowed to mingle.

That being said, I haven't generally found a lot of the smarter more adult-focused (as in - not

Huh.

Mitchman, I have very good news for you —

No matter how a creative medium and the critical discussions around it may evolve, as long as money governs the world - there will never be a short supply of shiny, mainstream, fun, relatively shallow, easily-digestible audience-pleasing experiences for those who 'just want to
