Hell to the yeah.
Hell to the yeah.
Sure, I see where you're coming from. I guess I'm just not sure what it would add to the conversation between reviewer and reader....
And, sure, it becomes one more subjective factor on a pile of subjective (to varying degrees) factors.... For instance, back to the movie analogy — if a critic is constantly saying that…
Hmmm.... I don't think I agree. I look at a review as a critical assessment of the content at hand delivered from a specific perspective (in this case here: Stephen's), not a Consumer Report.
Because again - different people value different things... Take your movie analogy: It's entirely likely that you and I differ…
Right, but 'sixty dollars' has different value to different people. As does 'worth owning.'
I dunno, maybe it's just me, but I feel like it's not really a game journalist's job to asses the value a game might have to an individual out there.
I'd agree that it'd be good to amend the system to be "YES Buy", "YES Rent"
That would be kind of ridiculous, though. They don't know your financial situation.
...."I'm not expecting they'll upgrade it to a 'Yes.'"
Is there such thing as an 'objective review?'
Outside of "Well, it works..." ?
Because Killzone sucks. Again.
Hehe, no worries, man! Hope all is well.
YES!!
'After a while, I got tired of them.'
Same here. Just didn't work for me.
MiiVerse is great.
That is all.
That's not really true, actually. There are some exceptions, sure, but — in general, playing through a campaign on normal without going out of your way to collect things, find things, use a certain gun a certain amount of times or anything — it'll get you about 100-400 toward the total....
I'm kind of a sucker for…
'But then you take a step back and you see the person next to you calling for some guy to be hit by a bus because of a tweet he made....'
...a tweet concerning a toy, I'd like to add. A machine. An entertainment device.
What I still love about Star Wars when I go back and watch them relates to this thing you're touching on about how the space feels. There's just this very human tangibility to everything.
I love how dirty and beat-up the poor X-Wings are, how imperfectly Luke's sandcruiser skips over the Tatooine desert, how clunky the…
I rather enjoy the WiiU as well. It makes me smile.
Buy a WiiU.
LTS is the only mode with 1 life, I think.... The other Deathmatch modes have infinite respawn.
I was reading Vonnegut and eating Fig Newtons...
BACK. OFF.
