You... You don’t have 4 years of student loan history when you graduate. Student loan payments are deferred until after graduation. I graduated with very poor credit, having missed a number of credit card payments and having no utilities in my name. 

bet many on here complaining about people’s financial irresponsibility got a good bit of help from their parents and a good bit of luck. and those that get the most defensive are the ones who's parents helped them with down payments or the nice middle class lifestyles that they high horse from.

100% agree with this. You know the first thing I did when I moved out of my parents house at 20? Ran up 7 grand in debt on a high-interest credit card that took 7 years to pay down.

Nearly 7% of people borrowing money for cars can’t pay it, and you’re blaming it on individuals instead of a systemic problem?

For the record, that’s only people 90 days past due. There are millions more that are 60 days past due, or have missed at least one payment.
