UCSF is easily a top-five med school. The schools are 20 minutes apart and you can literally see Cal from UCSF. A standalone med school would be foolish. The joint program is an awesome use of resources, unlike athletics!

As a fairly serious runner, I can tell from that photo that his pace is much slower than 6:30. That stride needs to be much longer and the back foot needs to be much higher. I would think that it’s an 11-12 minute mile, not a sub 3-hour marathon pace.
