For me, the nerdiest car out there is the Nissan Pulsar NX. It’s like a Volvo 480 but with a -3 to durability, +1 to reliability, and a morphing modifier that allows it to shift classes at will.

well maybe if they built this instead of the CT6:

Because it is plainly obvious that they were bought out by the automakers. They don’t just represent the automakers, they represent ALL of the public. The automakers have a LONG history of ganging up on ANY competition that threatens their happy little world of not giving a damn about their customers and putting out

What’s dumber is the backup camera is only required on vehicles under a certain weight. So box trucks don’t need them but subcompacts do.

They are an uneeded requirement that only adds to cost and complexity of base model cars. Rear visibility is also poor because of bad regulation. I think they are great as options but should not be required.

Easy: Front plate requirement. Ohio, requires it. Michigan (and damn near everyone else), not so much.

Meh Car Monday was yesterday.....

Sorry, but no.

Dude tucks his ears into his hat. That’s reason enough not to watch it.

Stability control does make us complacent. However there hasn’t been a period during my lifetime where we have ever taught people proper car control in the US. If you can back into a parking spot, they let you have a Mustang.

One of many reasons that aero is bad for racing. When it goes, the change is so dramatic. Spring rates have to be so high to counter the down force that suspension has no compliance. Aero turns the cars into big go-karts..

Well, people modify their $50,000 diesel truck to burn more $5/gal diesel fuel to belch smoke to strike a blow for the little guy against the small-car driving, bicycling and pedestrian elites. Or something like that.

YOU BITE YOUR TOUNGE! I loved my Power Wheels Jeep!

Mid engine mule?

I have 3 kids, a Stroke-addled mother in law, and a half-Newfoundland who is mercifully a wiry dog because he’s as tall as I am at 80 lbs.

i’d love to own one, but i’m having trouble finding one that hasn’t been molested to within an inch of its life.

At first I read “$7,900" and thought, “could easily be NP”, then I realized there were more digits. Even concours quality 914s don’t get there.

I voted NP (because their is always some room for negotiation) with essentially the same thoughts as your’s.

No it’s a truck because it has a body-on-frame construction. It also kicks ass.

Guitar geek here. Japanese Strats are certified cool now that production has moved to Korea and Mexico, and everyone has realized how great the Japanese craftsmanship actually was.
