Agreed. When they say that Model Y sales went up 95% (aka doubled), yet the tone of the headline is that Tesla is a failure, is just the ridiculous anti-Tesla rhetoric this site has become known for.

The fact they say the others are catching up when they sold 30k of a model and Tesla is selling 300k of a single model. That’s not catching up. 

At $38,990, the base Model 3 sedan now costs $8,700 less than the average amount paid for a car or truck in the US.

It’s a wheel cover.  They’ve been falling off of cars for decades.  Now it’s news-worthy?

What many people don’t know is the advantage of Tesla’s charger goes way beyond the shape of plug. Even how the cables run from the plug to onboard electronics are fundamentally different.

Wouldn’t the Rimac Nevera be the first 8 second production car in history? It does the 1/4 in 8.5 and was first delivered to customers in August. Obviously a very different price bracket and experience though. 

The new 4680 battery from Tesla is shipping in one version of the Model Y already and has been for months. 4680 refers to the size of the cell and not necessarily the chemistry. They may be working to improve the chemistry but that’s something they are always working with companies to accomplish. 

An easier solution would be to just lock up the key box.

I mean you can go look at your stock price yourself, it’s a company that’s stagnated, and idea generation is the way around it. I’m not saying it will work, but there’s a pretty obvious data point out there.
