Dumb. They are going after owners rather than going after the dealers. Why not focus on the massive ADMs?

Dealers are going to love this because now they have no used car market to compete with and they can charge whatever they want.

If there ever was a good excuse for a slideshow we’d all click through...

I have a feeling that many of these cases will turn out to be the drivers’ fault and the investigations will reveal that the driver should have been paying attention, whether or not the Tesla driving aids were being used. This could be like the unintended acceleration cases that actually wound up being caused by

One doesn’t typically round off cents when dealing with single digit dollars.

Anyway, the national average price for a gallon of gas now sits at $4.41"

It does seem like a pretty strange scheme to be involved in. “

“The most” didn’t mean “all.” It reflects on the general state of car manufacturing. It also means that all US Teslas are made in the US, which is mostly because they only have 4 factories so far, and two are in the US.

The 0-60 times you mean? There are a zillion YouTube videos confirming the Plaid’s time to 60.

Jalopnik’s anti tesla leaning is so obvious. I don’t know how an automotive enthusiast blog can ever call 2s 0-60 just “slightly” faster than 2.6s. I know these numbers don’t appeal to everyone but I can assure you that a 23% improvement in 0-60 is something some automotive enthusiasts would spend tens of not hundreds

Mostly the same on the outside, but pretty much every mechanical part has been updated. The interior is also entirely new.

I’m guessing you never bought anything on Amazon either; or been to Walmart; or bought gas; or paid taxes.

Fortunately there are quite a lot of charging stations, so I just drove to the next one on my route instead of waiting. Usually

Nobody has ever had the right to disturb the peace and endanger others.

It was not private. Did you read the article? It was an open letter that got circulated and signed by whoever wanted to sign it. This is not private AT ALL.

It’s not quite the same thing though. Tesla and GM lost money on every one of their early cars because they were forging a new path.

Again...being an employee is different than being a Twitter user. To be clear, I think Twitter has every right to ban people, but being a customer is not the same as being an employee.

I have to agree that it is unfair that the pioneers of EV get penalized. However that rule was laid down a long time ago and has nothing to do with the government hating Tesla. GM also used up all their credits. I don’t think anyone thinks the government hates GM.

Eh....the people twitter kicks off aren’t employees, they’re customers. While I do think twitter has the right to kick people off, it is their platform after all, this is an important distinction.

Then explain it. Concisely. Because the OP did in a way that is non-refutabble and concise.
