From some simple web searches his wife appears to have a net worth of $54.2 billion. Not sure either of them need child support!

:Sigh:  Free speech does NOT mean the right to say whatever you want without consequence.  It means the GOV can not punish you for what you say.

Yeah, dealers don’t have ridiculous mark ups...

There are between 10,000 and 12,000 car crashes in Portland Oregon every year. If there were only 392 car crashes in the last 10 months across the entire USA where a car was using level 2 driver assistance with the last 30 seconds, that sounds like a very safe system. As you note, these numbers mean nothing unless we

Pretty sure someone has said the same thing about all the other models they’ve had.

You really expect me or anyone else to take him, and anything he’s associated with, seriously?

“It’s incredibly sad that so much responsibility can be put on someone who, let’s face it, didn’t make much money as the manager of a Shell station. Szczecina is really getting screwed by capitalism coming and going.”

The Cybertruck is never going to be built, despite whatever fantasies you choose to play out in your head.

And on the other side, there were no honest customers that said, “Hey, is gasoline really less than a dollar per gallon?”

1st Gear: I don’t really blame Tesla for this. The original plan was to build that plant in Texas and have it crank out Cybertrucks from the start.

What gives him the right to execute a financial transaction? To buy a company (which he can afford to do) that he thinks is a good investment? To build on what already exists at Twitter to make it a successful investment?

The fundamental question you are asking is, “Should we use public funding to encourage EV adoption?” and the answer generally is Yes.  EVs are becoming more and more affordable each year.

Fraud is fraud, there’s always recourse when there’s fraud. The question is if there is any fraud and can you prove it.

Right, but the onus would be on you to prove the odometer has been tampered with, just as how it is on Musk to prove that Twitter’s bot estimate of 5% is inaccurate before you or Musk have any recourse.

Tesla routes you that way, shorter charging durations with more stops. I have never had a Tesla supercharger not working, the other companies however still have problems keeping them running.

Instead of paying to check a bag, we should now have to pay to stow a bag in the overhead bin.

I’m guessing if you did a survey in 1905 of why people weren’t trading in their horses for the new horseless carriages, you would have gotten similar responses.

And by Tesla actively marketing it, you mean news organizations unaffiliated with Tesla incorrectly marketing it?
