I can’t imagine anyone other than someone directly involved with the strike or their family members making a decision not to buy a GM vehicle specifically because of it.

It’s largely because they sell the Model 3, which has an average MSRP under 50k, at extraordinary volume. They have also lowered the prices on the S and X top-models, while striking the lower-spec S models entirely.

Yeah, I’m a long-term Tesla skeptic, but increasing sales while your much larger competition with better retail, marketing and sales operations than you have are all struggling is objectively impressive. I expect a lot of people to buy the dip here.

1st: I’m generally skeptical of Tesla overall, but this really does emphasize why analyst prediction are bullshit. If Tesla’s still selling cars, and is increasing how many cars it sells, at a time when the market for cars is eating shit, that’s objectively a positive.

Hell, I’d be happy if they’d all just standardize on the same goddamn half dozen different BOLT sizes.
