Seems like it could be implemented in a way that it lands first and then just frys the electronics/sensitive parts etc. It doesn't have to be a mini nuke. I've heard it has a fly home feature so that means they've thought about the case where it breaks it's tether but what if it runs out of fuel or is jammed etc?

Cool idea. I probably won't be getting any, however, as I rarely use filters any more. I do most of that stuff in post. Also, I fight vignetting enough with the filters I have.
