The only potential argument I have is that the USB-only ports often don’t provide enough amperage to actually charge or operate anything. My 2016’s USB port only put out like 0.05a or something equally useless. The USB-C ports in newer cars might be different, of course.
Have accessories stopped using it though? I haven’t seen any USB radar detectors for instance (haven’t looked in years though), and I also have a camping air mattress pump that uses the legacy port.
the smoker package is a no-cost option.
Are you the Plow King or Mr. Plow?
I drive 7K miles a year.
Spot on, people buy cars based on the max use case. The 1% of time where they need extra performance, extra space, etc. If people bought cars based on the 99%, everyone would be driving a two door GTI or something like that. Yet plenty of people buy pickups to tow their boat two times a year or a 7 seater SUV because…
Because that ignore the fundamental way that people buy cars.
When purchasing a vehicle, a major consideration isn’t about what someone will do, but about what they COULD do, and about how they want to look (not) doing it.
Your spirit animal is a Chocolate Lab named Buddy, isn’t it?

They could have straight up screwed with Tesla while harkening back to their most well known car and called it the Model T.
As I understand it, that button selects a mode that uses the electric motor’s regenerative brake capability to simulate a low gear on a conventional car with a multispeed transmission.
Ford Electric Futura has a nice ring to it.
They should have gone with that.
Count me in. Let’s be best friends!
(DT, reel it in a bit).
Can’t say I was particularly warm, moved, or interested (other than technically), either.
It’s fine.
Edsel.
After all, it’s hard to compete with a nameplate like Tesla with one that adorns the sheetmetal of a car as uncool as the EcoSport.
This is kind of rare, but this thing leaves me completely cold, unmoved, and care-less.
I see you were within a mile or 2 of my house. Stop by next time!
Jesus H Christ, that display. I mean, I know that Tesla does it too, but really Ford?
