This is a thing. You don’t over-rev the engine, but my car is perfectly happy around town at 3k rpm. 25mph is 2nd gear, 35 is 3rd. Need to slow down (gently), let off the gas, the gearing slows a reasonable amount before you need to brake and downshift. I have so far put 160k miles on this car driving this way.

Sorry, but you are wrong. I drive pretty much how Torch describes in my e46: 25 mph, i keep it in 2nd, that’s about 3k rpm. 35 mph is about 3k in 3rd gear. Highway is a totally different story, though.

This has been a gripe of mine with CR for years, at one point there wasn’t a single truck on their “Recommended list”.

Glad someone said it. I enjoy the mainstream domestics, but damn are the craft brews tasty!

Would also make a great band name!

Weezer is always appropriate.

Yes!

The Park Avenue Ultra could be had with that package. My dad had one, numb steering, but man was it a surprisingly good handling car!

My thoughts are similar, except I would LS and 6 speed swap it.

Yes! More stars for you!

Yes! I would love to see what the heck happened to this engine that it needs $18k to repair/replace it. Did it destroy the entire front suspension and transmission and engine bay, too?

I was hoping this would be here.

Understood on the seat springs, too... a friend described it as “couch-like.”

Thanks for the info! I have the original lap belts, but was wondering if there was another option, as well.

As the father of a 3 year old/owner of a 67 Mustang, may I ask what company?

What Mr. Tracy said. Generally speaking, rotors don’t need replaced with the pads. That being said, i know BMW shops have tried to convince me to replace the rotors on my e46 every single time I’ve had brakes done.

And here I thought it was this. But you might be right.

Without a grill it looks like this to me.

As a 6'4" man, i too would like an answer to this.

This deserves far more stars!
