Good take. I had one as well. It is an excellent roadster. My biggest problem is that I’m almost 6'3" and it felt perfectly proportioned for the 5'7'” population (my wife loved it).

I bought two AP2s over the years, both with teen miles, enjoyed them immensely for about 5 years each, and made a slight profit on both.

You know he does have a point about leaving one screen to do vehicle functions. It would be amazing if something as simple as a button located to the left of the steering wheel could open that frunk in one simple push! Seems so obvious but alas that’s just a feat of engineering we can’t accomplish

Say Phil, is that your truck out there?”
“Sure is! It’s an Apocalypse Industries Dark Horse Bronco with kevlar finish!”
“Wow, Phil! I was sure you’d made love before!”

This thing is... special. For a very special person.”

I can always tell when I’m about to see a Jeep or a lifted bro truck because they’re on these same category of cheap-as-shit M/T tires that are horrible both on and off road. Their only market is bro-dudes that need the tough look and are too cheap to pay for tires that look cool but won’t WARB-WARB-WARB-WARB all the

column shifters are even less useful than bench seats and bumper jacks. good riddance.

Irrational NP. I want this little weirdo, and I don’t even really understand why.

It’s always fun to see a car I never knew of in here. Learning is fun!

The record for us until recent years was a new 2014 Honda Odyssey for 32k . But this raises an interesting point: I felt far more financially nervous with a used, low mile Evora S, than the new 4Runner. Both cost about the same upfront to acquire (low 50k range; the 4R is optioned out), but one had the potential to

I am a Datsun fanboi but that thing is UGLY

$12K?! Twelve thousand dollars? Is this real?! Is it April Fool’s?!

You know how the police like to do those photoshoots of drug busts, with the inevitable bags of drugs, stacks of cash, and various weapons arranged “artfully” for the camera? I wanted them to do the same thing for this bust. It would have been awesome. But they didn’t do that.

The car just wanted to be free.  Free from the garage it was being kept in, slowly dying.  Car depression is real.  And it’s coming for yours too!

Were you going to post some pictures of the wrecked truck? I think those pics are from how they come from the factory.
