I doesn’t get better, I’m afraid. If anything, it gets worse. The competent-but-merely-okay gameplay and the pretty graphics aren’t worth having to endure the endless tedium of its cutscenes, which can’t be skipped. This wouldn’t be a problem if said dialogue was in any way interesting, but alas.

I gave up halfway through btw. Just really started to drag and I actually found some of the combat/healing system to be a little unforgiving. It’s a beautiful game but feels like with better plotting/pacing it could have been truly brilliant.
