Absolutely agree with this. Make the leaps more interesting (which I think they will because they’ve thrown out the “within his own lifetime” requirement). I’m confused. Didn’t Conan do his show during the strike in 2007, 2008? He grew a strike beard IIRC!  I don’t remember backlash to that.
