Only somewhat related, but not thrilled that this showed up as an ad next to this story. Even more of a reason to use an ad blocker though I have mine turned off on Jezebel and the related sites because content sometimes gets blocked. Not sure what the ad algorithm looks like but this is ridiculous:
I forgot about Summer Rental! That’s a great one.
Oh my gosh how could you not include Summer School with Mark Harmon and Kirstie Alley?! Such a classic stupid summer movie for me as a kid.
This is even mentioned in Nintendo Life’s review.
Nintendo Life gave these a bad review:
Getting rupees for buying armor and resources, especially to be able to afford charges (aka batteries). Getting zonaite for being able to use autobuild whenever and wherever I want (especially for the two fan + control stick hovercraft).
I love the game but simply don’t have time to do all the grinding Nintendo expects of me in their already 100+ hour game to get anything good.
None of the stories I’ve read about this have said how many times the ride ran after the crack was reported. The fact that the ride wasn’t immediately shut down, even if the report was false, does not look good for this amusement park.
Could they have picked a more boring choice than Ryan Seacrest? Ugh.
My head canon is that drinking from the grail saved him, though of course that ignores the edict that the price of immortality is being stuck in that temple.
Great episode, but was I the only one distracted by the fact that the courtroom set was pretty clearly a redress of the Federation council chamber from the latest season of Discovery? The big round open forum was pretty obvious.
Any recent reviews of Starlink? Friend in a rural area cannot get wired internet (crazy in 2023) and has been using Hughesnet, which is expensive and sucks.
You’re forgetting about a huge negative here: digital only. I want physical copies.
Controversial opinion that I have stated before: San Junipero is highly overrated. It was good and an interesting twist, but I would never say it was the greatest Black Mirror twist like many others have.
Either that or somebody gave her a ton of money.
I want more details on the glasses situation. I have a Quest 2 that I rarely use, mostly because it is annoying to try to squeeze my glasses in there. There is a 3rd-party company that makes lenses for it (I forget who it is right now), like it seems like Zeiss will for Apple, but that’s an extra expense that just…
This looks right in my sweet spot! But how in 2023 is 8GB of RAM still a base configuration?
Ingenuity first flew in April, 2021, not 2019.
Easter egg: notice in the ending montage that Mae (in the bar) straightens a photo on the wall of Geronimo. Sam Malone did the exact same thing to honor Coach in the finale of Cheers.
