Triple caution!
Triple caution!
It’s such a scam - and people still eat it up!
I prefer the “Nerf this!” version:
I think CBS Sports airs replays the week after events. I spring for the series’ streaming service though. No commercials, stream the race at my leisure so I’m not up at 3 in the morning trying to watch a race live. It’s great.
There’s a long ass straight right after to do so that he could have been better positioned for a draft on if he had lifted. He’s not drafting anybody where his car is positioned. Even if he doesn’t hit the other miata, he’s still stuck on the outside at the top of the esses before the right and doesn’t have anyone to…
No, it’s not. About 00:15 is where he commits himself to the corner, and he has a choice: do I stay committed and try to force it through with these two knobs side-by-side, or do I have some patience and avoid potential trouble. He chose the former.
My personal favorite series!
Watkins Glen is THE most popular race on the calendar - it’s hardly the fringe.
And the camera car should have given himself space for things to go pear-shaped. It’s a quali session, there’s no need to be driving like that trying to force three wide at the esses with cars in mixed classes. It’s always the responsibility of the car behind to pass cleanly, and he didn’t.
You should give the Aussie V8 Supercars a try:
The LeBlanc spokeswoman doesn’t exactly deny the rumor either... This one might be legit?
Tighten your belts!
I might have posted something along these lines before, but definitely going to SCCA club races at Texas World with my dad and little brother when we were little kids. I remember the Baby Grands were my favorites because they were like NASCARS but “me-sized”. Lots of hot-dogs, fruit-punch, sunburns and racecars. We’d…
That literally has nothing to do with channel listings on a cable sports network. It’s like if HBO has Game of Thrones listed and they air Sesame Street instead. It’s not fair to the people that wanted to watch Game of Thrones. NBC did the same shit with the Canadian GP replay and a round of golf, and I was just as…
No - when they promise to cover an event by listing it on the schedule, then fucking cover it. Plain and simple. You can’t promise one product to customers and then deliver another.
Dope, would prefer this to the fox broadcast. Am I wrong in assuming Hindhaugh will be on FIA broadcast?
Is there only the one scenario?
In my brother’s Focus ST the throttle is recessed from the brake pedal, so you REALLY have to be deep in to the brakes to use the proper technique - it’s awful. It’s so bad, in fact, that there is a whole aftermarket just for pedal mods to bring the throttle up even with the brake pedal.
I was taught to use the ball of my foot on the brake to apply pressure, then kind of kick my knee to the right and the heel follows to roll over the throttle for the blip. Works like a charm. I don’t have huge feet either, and I can’t imagine giving up the control over the brake with the ball of my foot to use the…
