Do we get that on BBC America?

We have to watch “Extra Gear” for our dose of Chris Harris? I feel cheated...

Didn’t most of the old production team run off with the other three?

They have tear-offs that the driver can rip off at their leisure. If I’m not mistaken NASCAR uses giant ones for their windscreens, not positive about other series and whether or not LMP cars use them.

It’s not just about the materials, it’s about how the light bends through the curves of the material, and how it is refracted on to the eyeballs of the driver. A lot of research would need to go in to how the canopy would affect the light, and then they’d need to figure out how to keep it clear of tire/oil debris and

Saw them three wide down the front straight, and realizing it was Sage on the outside, said to myself, “Townsend don’t go three wide with this guy...” and sure enough, Sage ka-rammed into the wall. Hoping this is his last chance. He is not at all safe. Infamous for wrecking himself on multiple occasions, causing the

Frankly, in Karam’s case, I’m of the opinion it’s his propensity to cause wrecks when racing side-by-side that has left him without a seat. His rookie season was a disaster.

I would imagine it’s because the curve of the shield warps incoming light rays and distorts what we see out of it. Wouldn’t consider it bs. RE the halo visibility, drivers are almost never looking dead center - always ahead for the next apex/trackout/braking reference. I thought the radio antenna in iRacing’s version

XCOM 2 and Overwatch have been outstanding so far.

If it was during warmup I doubt we’d have broadcast footage.

There’s a lot of space between the edge of the track and that wall too. Having a hard time fathoming how it managed to do that.

What? Struggling to find sense here. The point is that no one knows if it works or not until they fling debris at it, which up to this point hasn’t really been reported on - just that the things exist and have been in testing. Did you reply to the right comment? I’m for driver protection, and it pisses me off when

Not liking it =/= not working

It’s one thing to test whether the drivers can see out of it, it’s another to actually fling debris at it and see if it works. None of us really know whether they work or not until teams start reporting on how well they do in more than just simulations.

Somehow approaching 76 solo as Lucio doesn’t seem like a good idea...

Really cool segment, wish they hadn’t skipped a few generations though.

So fucking tired of hearing people spout off like this. Are you the one testing it?

Sounds like it went more vertically through the legs before entering his hip from outside of the left leg - jesus. So if you lie down as if you’re in the car and imagine that path on your own it seems to me it would have just missed the jewels. He’s extremely lucky he didn’t bleed out - I’m more wondering what the

The proper thing to do should be to refer to it as the DW12 in keeping with the Dan Wheldon tribute - it irks me that they keep causing confusion on the name of the chassis. It still saddens me to know how involved he was in testing the new chassis before his death. Will be thinking of him this weekend and remembering
