Since I got the Warren Moon joke and laughed, I missed the follow-up joke about people not getting the reference. So I think the Moon reference was ALSO the point of the joke.

I'm not saying obscurity automatically equals funny. I thought those jokes were funny on their own merits. I give 30 Rock extra points for going beyond tried and true joke comedic material.
