Gotta disagree with you on this one, Todd. This episode solidified my love for this show. I think the Higgins' character is supposed to be heavy-handed—that his "carpe diem" act works in spite of himself added another layer to the joke. Solid A from me.

I hope this doesn't take focus away from the subplot concerning the foxy doctor-turned-hooker played by Cain's foxy Kiwi second-in-command from "Battlestar Galactica."

"Popular" does not equal "profitable," especially these days.

I never quite understood why people thought DBT would go into the tank when Isbell left. The man wrote some fine songs, but Hood and Cooley still generally the best stuff. And, yeah, I'd agree that BTCD is a watershed.

I love "Gravity's Gone," especially the line, "She woke up sunny side down and I was still thinking I was too proud to flip her over."
