It was contractually obligated to go to theaters as part of the deal with fox. 

These are rare, but they were also not in mainstream distribution.  So most people’s old binders of worthless cards will not have these in them.  Kind of like the Nintendo World Championships. Rare yes. But if you have one, you know you have one and you know exactly how much its worth.

Its not but it is very possible to get stuck in an alternate timeline where the future has changed if you are not using stark brand quantum tunnelling.

I dislike comparing video game remakes to book remakes. For one, books don’t get remade, they get reprinted, and they’re the exactly the same.

I’m excited. Yes, it will be a new story and yes, it will be different and maybe in some parts worse and it some parts better. If I wanted FFVII, I have 3 different copies of it. PC Port, PS1 copy, digital copy.

There  are some traditions that were hokie for their time and don’t hold up well in the modern era.  Lets be honest, Flash has a lot of these that really shouldn’t be as tough as they are for him.  They work fine as side villians that don’t require a whole lot of thought. Captain Boomerang took him less than a second.

My only complaint is she’s fighting sportsmaster.. now I’m sure he’s trained his whole life to be the best at sports or whatever, but she’s a superhero, and he’s wearing hockey pads. There should be no contest here. She should be more worried about accidentally killing him.

I saw those and I wonder if he’s got vibranium or they’re just steel or something.

My favorite part of this trailer and probably the movie when it releases (besides the collective sassiness of Nat and fam)  is that the Taskmaster is using all of the avengers moves.  Shield?  Captains moves.  Bow?  Hawkeye.. Sword?  I don’t know, but its pretty bad ass.  I can’t wait to see all the easter eggs…

This movie looks interesting but I worry that someone will take this movie as more than the absurdist satire that it is.

My one complaint, even though I’m looking forward to the watching the movie, is that Cassandra Cain is supposed to be a badass. On Pair with Robin or Batman. She’s shown so far in this movie as a bumbling everyman that gets caught up in over her head and as comic relief.

I love Joker and hope it wins Picture, Actor, etc.. But I’m sad we don’t get to see any nominations for Knives Out, Uncut Gems, or Lighthouse(in categories that matter).

Basically removing all the world building and character building.

Is there a question or experience that we would be enthralled to visit for 8+ episodes and feel satisfied? Lubeman spinoff aside, I believe there’s lots of ways the show could explore the universe of watchman, Jeremy Irons alone would be a treasure.

I think after Vietnam he was tired of being used...  Solve world hunger? End Nuclear Weapons?  No one’s ever even asked him to do that.  He doesn’t really have any imagination.

The Empire’s army was clones and then conscripts.  I imagine that the new republic’s  army and police force are stretched thin trying to hunt down remnants and droids are probably a lot easier to mass produce.
