@sassifrassilassi: Aw hell, I couldn't resist. Star on here too. Go ahead and spread those lies.

Hands down VVVVVV
@kondrik: Right now the plan is to get things the way they were in terms of usability and functionality. Step two is getting the beta live next month. No idea if there's plans for account linking.
@sweetbeans: We've been overwhelmed with emails and only have a handful of people on the tech team. We're trying to get through them all. Hang in there, I'm sorry for the wait!
@dambo291: You can try emailing the help desk at help [at] gawker.com and see if they can help you recover your account.
@Arthaey: There's been thousands of emails in the last couple of days with only a handful of people to address them. We're working around the clock to try and address each one individually. Please be patient, we will get to you!
@hndsmepete: Please send an email to help [at] gawker.com regarding this. Either they used your email to sign up for an account or your email was accidentally linked to their account.
@phisheep: You didn't come off that way at all! It is for a password reset and for the "forgot your password" option at login. If you just want to CHANGE it all you need is your old password, since you just hit the Password button in your account when already logged in and put in the old password plus the new password…
@Fouineuse: I don't want to mislead you by saying "it will all be deleted" because I'm not sure on the internal mechanics of it. I will however ask to find out for you. I'm pretty sure deleting your account means all of your credentials will be erased as well, but let me get an official word on that.
@DoctorDynamite: Thank you, I appreciate that. I'm not alone though. All of the editors on all of the sites have gone above and beyond to answer questions, and then there's all the people behind the scenes who've worked endless hours over the last few days to overhaul everything and to answer all of the thousands of…
@sbruna: There will be an option to delete your account in a few days. Sit tight!
@tinycake (Rachel Fogg): Glad I could help. The upside to all of this is that if I get a lump of coal for Christmas, I won't be surprised or disappointed :)
@mesiikittie: The Fusion page is currently not working for those that had configured it pre-hack. It's one of the many systems that is being reworked right now.
@loves2Grind2612: A feature that will allow for you to delete your accounts will be available in a few days.
@tinycake (Rachel Fogg): Interesting issue, but definitely something I can help you with! First off, we will be rolling out our account deletion feature in a few days, so when that goes live you're more than welcome to use it to delete your old account.
@phisheep: You do not need to put an email in. Having an email associated to your account allows for you to reset your password or have a new one sent to you, as many people are opting to do. It also allows you to receive email notifications when someone replies to your comments. But it is not mandatory.
@Baboonski: This is an issue with some accounts. Send an email to help [at] gawker.com so a tech can personally assist you in this matter!
@Eschekt: I completely understand your statements. You have every right to be upset. Security wasn't the only thing breached with the hack; our relationships with the community were also breached. And honestly, it's a sucky feeling.
@LegendaryGamer0: Send an email to help [at] gawker.com describing what you did and the error you're getting. A tech should be able to help you in fixing the issue and getting your account back to normal.
