People under estimate how much having a state filled with overweight, sweaty people in a God-for-saken climate can turn people into a bunch of animals. Mix in traffic and look out.

This is largely a concerted revisionist history by Southerners still bitter over the civil war.

I think what you are actually seeing is that in the HGTV, always-remodeling world that consumers are prioritizing looks and fancy features over reliability and day-to-day usage. If I had a ton of money, I’d make an appliance company that specialized in really rugged, durable products. Sell them for a lot of money to

What are you doing to your appliances? My place still has the original builders grade shit from 11 years ago.

Losing weight is easy. As the original article points out, we don’t know enough about how to keep weight off. That’s the entire point of this study. These contests would continue to eat healthy and exercise, but their bodies would basically stop burning calories.

Even those of us with money don’t want to deal with the hassle of PC gaming. I’ll keep my Mac laptop, because it’s far superior to Windows ones for my work and pleasure and keep buying consoles.

The thing is, in this regard, the true scotsman are the asshole bike riders.

Smaller customers are easy: Max out your 401 (k) and your spouses and build-up an emergency fund. For your average person, this is pretty simple.

Let’s say my goal is to make sure I avoid paying as much tax as possible. Why wouldn’t I get an accountant and a tax lawyer?

I’m unclear why most people would use a financial planner, certified or not.

Big bonus if you like doing it, for sure.

Applying this logic: Why didn’t your daughter fix the timing belt herself?

There is a rubicon you will one day cross financially, and you’ll just be a lot less stressed. Develop good financial habits when you don’t have a lot of money, and when you one day have a lot more, you’ll just be so relaxed.
