I think we saw her buy tomato juice? I don't know why I think we did if we didn't.

I assume that's why it could wait til morning.
Oh god, does that mean Windom Earle is going to be in The Return? Because I really hope not.
Welcome back to my nightmares, Grace Zabrinskie.
Not inherently hilarious ≠ offensive.
Can we just give the X-Files to Bryan Fuller?
Oh pffft, it's not even close to the worst one. It doesn't even have Kathy Griffin in it!
I think by season 5/6 The X-Files was using a lot of stuff that was probably meant to be in Millennium. "Tithonus" always felt like a Millennium episode to me.
I feel similar, tbh. By Season 7 they were basically mopping up ideas that they hadn't done yet and trying to find things to do with them, but with enough creativity and enthusiasm that there are some really good episodes there. I don't think anyone would have expected a really good episode of the X-Files about an…
I don't think I've ever seen any women trying to flog their books via sponsored Facebook post - that mostly seems to be men.
Or just constantly stares at his feet.
Barring the usual edgelord types, it's interesting to note that this gender disparity is found in TV, but not in other forms of writing. When you look at literary writing, women are far better represented.
You raise an interesting point (possibly unintentionally). There are relatively few women in TV writing, but in literary writing, women are well-represented, to the point where (IIRC) there are more female novelists than male ones. Why would a gender that is clearly capable of writing be under-represented in this…
No, definitely not. Tbh, I'd say even before that point there are a few stinkers that you don't really need to see, but if you stop at the movie, you'll miss some of the really enjoyable Season 7 episodes where the writers just fuck around for a while.
I think it might improve things actually. They seem to have taken on board that the people who still want to watch the show aren't the ones who were hooked on the conspiracy/mythology stuff.
To be fair, that's half as many as the four that there were in the entire original run. And yes, I did count them.
I like to think I"m a bit of a coin-a-sewer of bad movies, but I watched, like, 2 minutes of that and decided I was out.
THEORY: James Hurley is the Jar-Jar Binks of Twin Peaks, and this was basically Lynch's George Lucas-style "fuck you" to the audience for not accepting him.
Remember those every-flavour jelly beans in Harry Potter? Did they ever explain why the fuck anyone would risk eating those?
This has been bugging me for a while, and I hope that that's what it is.
