What I'm wondering is, does Florida have distracted driving laws? This situation seems to be at least as dangerous as texting while driving, with at least two of the three drivers involved holding cameras at each other while driving fast. The Lamborghini driver was a stereotypical dick (not saying all Lambo drivers

Am I wrong for thinking both the demonstration photos here are fantastic?

My 1/2o-ish scale tipped-over-on-its-ass Smart Car "homage".

I'm actually a little disappointed. I saw the tweet about "Aquarium Windows" in Dubai and I was imagining a whole wall of a building being an aquarium that functions as one giant picture window with fish, which totally seems like something you'd actually find in Dubai. Like, there's be a tank under the floor where

I can't possibly be the only person here who saw the red-white-blue stripe on a white car and immediately thought of Herbie the Love Bug, can I?

edited first post, ignore this addenda. (I find "Edit" doesn't always work.)

We could talk all day about Ramis' near-flawless resume, but let's take a moment to honor three of the most famous cars from movies he's directed: The Wagon Queen Family Truckster from "National Lampoon's Vacation"; the Ecto-1 from "Ghostbusters"; and the EM-50 Urban Assault Vehicle in "Stripes."

What's the deal with airplane peanuts? (Sorry, couldn't resist)

I get that this map is only colouring in the countries through which the "Dakar" Rally passes through in brown/beige, but colouring in non-rally countries the same colour as the ocean makes landlocked Bolivia look like it has a coastline which just looks weird. As weird as spelling "color" with a U after the second O.

Yeah, probably they can do a reboot late night GUNSMITH CATS TV series. It's pretty obvious why the OVA only lasted three episodes, it was just too expensive to continue animating the cars properly on a mid-1990s OVA budget if the first three episodes didn't sell well enough to warrant animating more. Of course, the

The blue-with-white-stripes Shelby GT driven by a dusky-skinned heroine reminds me very much of GUNSMITH CATS. (Sorry about the mediocre dub, really not a dub fan, but it's the most representative clip I could find without linking to the whole episode.)

I only politely disagree with Michael Ballaban's stance on the Tim Burton BATMAN movies. I know the Christopher Nolan films are the superior crime dramas, but they're a bit too dead serious for my tastes. The Tim Burton BATMAN films are my favourite incarnation of BATMAN because I like the surreal spectacle of it all,

Yah, that's what I was gonna write. That was a Hot Wheels "First Edition" car from 2011 and I know not every "standard" Hot Wheels car is exactly to scale (anything larger than a full-size sedan in real life will be a smaller scale than 1/64 just to fit in the blister), but I don't doubt that a compact like a Ford
