Strong, strong disagree. My partner and I heard nothing about the show prior to watching it, and really enjoyed the first two episodes. But the writing was just awful. For example: how did Galadrial and her cavalry know to show up at that one village in the Southlands that was under siege? That was just a glaring plot

The special effects and costuming were great, but the writing was just abysmal. Viewers who did stick around til the end were not rewarded.

DA:I felt pretty garbage to me. I loved DA:O and actually really enjoyed DA2 even, but I could not get into the third installment.

Yeah remember when Davos went crazy after he lost his only son and then the girl he loved like a daughter was burned alive and then his king fell and his entire faction crumbled and he was left with no one? Or wait he was totally fine nm

If by “destroyed” you mean “bumped some chairs ever so slightly out of alignment” then yes there was some evidence for that in the next episode. But otherwise things looked pretty intact.

Yeah those slavers seemed like great guys

No one is complaining that she became the mad queen, we’re complaining how it happened.

Really? I personally would totally throw a slave master to a dragon. Fuck those guys.

Dany doesn’t use a sword, she used fire. They’re both instruments of violence and murder though.

The Tarlys swore an oath to the Tyrells, to whom Dany was allied. They betrayed that oath and instead sided with the Lannisters.
