Woah woah woah, Jurassic Park is a damn fine book.
If he actually intended to write satire it could've ended up being an interesting book. He didn't, and it's the absolute worst.

I'd see it. I can imagine rewatching it on Blu Ray being a let down after the roadshow experience. There's a damn good reason he put an intermission in there.

Oh come on seriously? It doesn't take a genius to realise that women are still to this day marginalised and unequal. The problems of the past and in other countries don't suddenly make the problems here and now irrelevant. You don't shrug off every murder because there's a genocide going on elsewhere in the world.
