That isn’t exactly possible in high density cities. Not every apartment has a parking garage. A lot of them rely on normal street parking.

I mean you may have been alive but you're mistaken. Since 1994 Honda has given us the Integra Type R, Civic Type R, S2000, 1G Insight, Fit and a few recent F1 wins. They've also completely dominated MotoGP.

Really?  I’m a property manager/real estate broker in east central Florida, and honestly have never had an applicant ask about EV charging.

Anecdotal is anecdotal.

This is such a bad take lol

Who are these people?

Are there really customers who truly want them? I’m not so sure because there are lots of issues regarding infrastructure and hardware. I do not believe there will be a dramatic increase in demand for battery vehicles, and I believe this situation is true globally.

Who are these people? Do you hear them saying this a lot?

That’s...not a bad take by Hachigo at all. He’s right that there are numerous hurdles to an EV replacing a gas-powered car at this time, and it’s not something that looks primed to change within the next decade barring an unprecedented investment into global infrastructure.

Maybe one of the largest and most successful carmakers on Earth sees more value in delivering reasonably-priced products with mass appeal over competing with Pedoman and his magical tent cars by blowing R&D on expensive pseudo-luxury EVs in a niche market.

Silk Blue Metallic is one of the best-looking blues out there from any manufacturer. Pictures don’t do it justice in my opinion.

The people voted, they chose libertarian capitalism.

So I just bought a 2017 Jaguar XE, and I’m rapidly discovering the beauty and frustration of door pull design. It has this two-tier design which is pretty and seems reasonable...

Some are, some aren’t. Depends on the brand, model, and market for that car.

You are not alone. The C5 and C7 are toward the bottom of my Corvette list.

No,  the C4 is Kourtney, the C5 is Kim, to each his own, I prefer Kourtney.

I love this thread.

Normally I would tend to agree, but for one of the most beautiful ‘Vette body styles in the best color in that shape for that price negates the slushbox. Hell, I’m even willing to overlook the (gasp) chrome wheels.

An affordable entry into the world of weekend toys. That’s also an attractive color. New tires are a huge plus. NP.

You know what else is under-rated? Proper detent angles for doors. Take the Mustang GT. Your options are to suck in your gooch and shimmy sideways into the drivers seat or swing the door so wide you have to have one foot out of the car to reach the handle to close it. Even the new Camry is afflicted with this.
