Ha! Good logic. I don’t think I’d buy one, but if any shop nearby rented one, I guarantee I’d try it out. I think they’re too much money for what they are right now, but with a price drop to $550 or so it would be a lot more appealing.

Car douche starter kit?

I’m talking about standard pressure ammo - 115 and 124 grain - from multiple manufacturers including S&B, Fiocchi, and Speer which aren’t light loaded. It had better luck with 147 grain Federal American Eagle, but still wasn’t 100%. Having problembs with steel case Tula I could understand, but failures with quality

I owned an L9-A1. It wasn’t very reliable (it hated low power ammo - +Ps were the only ammo it ran flawlessly with), but it was super comfortable and had a great trigger.

One of my favorites is this:

This is a cheap way to get into an AACA show, yet still gives you AC, power everything, and better handling dynamics than a 60’s era boat on bias plys. The nostalgia bomb effect it will have on anyone under 30 is a pleasant side effect. NP.

Try a Steyr M9 or a Arsenal Strike One if you can. Both guns have a very low bore axis, and the recoil impulse is much more of a straight back push than a twist. That might be why you feel a G17 recoils more than a high-bore-axis pistol.

If this was 1/4” in front of the decocking lever, rather than directly under my thumb, I’d like these far more.

These grips are layered G10 plastic. When cut to the slightly rounded shape of a 1911’s grips, the different layer’s colors are displayed, much like laminated wood. The layers are different colors for a bit of camoflage effect, though how effective that is is a matter of opinion.

So it’s basically the Galaxy Gun, but aimed at planets rather than stars. That makes a bit more sense.

The Sun Crusher fired a torpedo that destabilized stars, causing them to supernova and destroy the star system (and giving it it’s name).

Does anyone have the address of the Nissan board of directors, Ghosn, or whoever else made this decision? Sending them some of these might be a good idea.

I wouldn’t consider Starkiller Base a Sun Crusher so much as a Galaxy Gun with less technological plausibility (the Galaxy Gun being a launcher for planet smashing missiles that fly through hyperspace rather than a galaxy-spanning hyperspace blaster cannon)

I still wouldn’t necessarily say they lost. Chewie’s walker defeated them near the bunker. More than anything, the Ewoks scattered them. Regardless of how competent or not the Stormtroopers were, the Ewoks were able to draw them away from what they were protecting, which allowed the Rebels to blow the bunker.

I wouldn’t buy an early Fiesta or Focus used, period. The Powershift had so many problems early on (bad transmission seals that leaked fluid and ruined the clutches, clutch wear from poor shifting, TCM issues), that I wouldn’t trust any of them that I didn’t drive the bulk of the mileage on myself.

Is there a source for Luca’s original draft? I’m curious what he came up with, and how it compares to the EU and VII.

That’s reasonable.

Being unable to hit a target past 50 yards because of a 6 MOA shift is ‘not working’ in my book.

It’s interesting that they’re still using EOTechs. I guess theirs don’t suffer the POI shift in extreme temperatures L3 recently admitted to on some models..

I don’t suppose you snagged the Shinsen door panels and seats? The blue cloth was really cool and I badly wanted to put a set in the NB I had.
