The Camry obviously missed the memo.

And the rust!

The Russians have a variety of modern corvette-sized designs in production that are quite modern. It’s the larger ships - cruisers, destroyers, carriers - that they couldn’t afford to build after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and still have trouble building now.

This might look ok - maybe even good - if the colors were inverted. Pic related. I think this is a Jaguar XF.

Is that a slide? For soldiers? A war slide?

I would have thought that the train incident proved that he’s stab proof. Potential assailants should try to shoot him, at least, but I’d suggest bringing a tank to the fight to be sure.

You. I like you.

I think I’d prefer the airdam-less Mustang LX front end over the GT’s, but that’s still pretty awesome.

I think the seller means he has factory replacement seat covers, but hasn’t installed them.

Stretched slightly, and with a lower belt line, this looks like a good replacement for the current Forester.

THIS WEEK ON TOP GEAR...

I’m an engineer too, so I can sympathize, but the biggest difference between the 2V Modulars was a completely different cam support and bearing design. That dictated unique cams, valve covers, cam gears, and lots of small parts for each design, and that’s just in the heads. They changed the crank design too.

Yeah, that Modular name was a tease - the production line was Modular, but nothing else was. Seriously, when I first heard about the the 2V Romeo and Windsor Modular V8s, I had to ask my father how anyone thought that was a good idea - and I was probably 14 at the time, so rational thought was a strange concept to me.

I thought the MEL was never installed in Fords (apart from some heavy truck applications), but now that I look at it, they were optional in the ‘59-’60 Thunderbird. Add it to the list!

Don’t get me wrong, Ford makes some great engines, but their eagerness to constantly change the design makes it hard to be popular with the hotrodders and swappers.

Why on earth would he want to?!?

I grew up in NJ (also in Middlesex county!), but lived in PA for a few years after college. Last year I moved back after a job change. Not being able to fill my own gas tank was the most annoying thing about coming back, even more than the draconian gun laws. I firmly believe that anything fun (and many that aren’t)

Those are the angled AShM launchers straddling the bridge. These are SAMs.

I think these are the best looking missile ships the Soviets built, even more so than the Kirovs (the Italian influenced Sverdlov-class takes the cake for primarily-gun-armed ships)
