I’ll take either one of these - an A-4 Skyhawk or an F-8 Crusader. The A-4 is awesome because it’s a tiny little hot rod of a bomb truck, while the F-8 was the last gun fighter, long and sleek and minimalist.

That car has been at Woodward for a while now - I first saw it on Autoblog back in 2010, but I’ve seen it in other magazines about the dream cruise since then.

This is the correct answer. The last domestics before the late 70’s downsizing were hideously large, and the second downsizing to FWD in the 80’s were hilariously warped in the other direction.
Well, the USAF has ~1000 F-16s and they do do a lot of flying, so the numbers F-16s crashing is almost certainly higher than lower inventory types such as the F-22 or F-15.
