I’m no expert, but the rust looks superficial and the major wear items aren’t too hard to fix (with the possible exception of the AC - that might snowball). This seems like a cheap way to get a cool car. Buy, put $2k into and have a great, fun driver. NP

I’m waiting for the Norris Packard Custom version myself:

The worst part is that the Bushmaster version is the only one available on the civilian market and, in typical fashion, they blew it. Supposedly the LEO & .mil only Remington version is much improved. Caliber conversions and shorter/longer barrels would be nice to.

Did he rent the C-130 to carry his ego?

Stupid question: would the average Korean be able to read the sign, and therefore catch the irony?

As much as I’d love one, I’m getting married this October so there isn’t much fun money to go around, and my Focus is a good enough daily driver that I’d crazy to get rid of it for an (admittedly cool) older Subaru.

Watching this video and seeing how often the F-16 pilot looks at his target, and then down at the IP and HUD, and then back to the target really gives an idea how transformative the VR helmet of the F-35 will be if they actually get it working. Being able to to display almost all of the the HUD’s information on the

A toll plaza traffic jam picture that isn’t of the NJ Turnpike? Impossible!

Does anyone know what aircraft this is from? Having two displays stepped like that is odd.

That’s a DLC I’d pay for.

You’re a bad influence. One of these is officially on the ‘to buy when looking for a project’ list.

Considering that LGT wagons are rare as hen’s teeth, that’s not a bad idea. I don’t suppose the awful cladding comes off the bodywork as easily as the suspension is swapped?

These are awesome. I love the soft orange glow and purposeful bezels.

You could get a decent NSX for that money, and that’s a bona fide, factory engineered, super car with collector interest.

Fires caused by ASM were rather nasty, as Sheffield or Eilat can testify. prob the best example were a very nasty fire on Iranian Frigate sahand that engulf her from bow to stern, she struck by 3 Harpoon and 2 Missile + Cluster bomb. litteraly burned to death

And that doesn’t even discuss the cost of crewing it...As I understand it, the crew demands were a serious issue when they were reactivated in the 80’s.

The Iowas, like all battleships, have redundant controls in the heavily armored conning tower which contained all of the necessary controls to operate the ship. In theory, the command crew would retreat into the conning tower during combat to protect themselves from enemy fire. The conning tower in an Iowa could

You see a base, I see a target.
