NJ and other high restrictive states starting to issue CCW permits certainly wouldn’t hurt.

Izusu and Suzuki sold hatchbacks in the 90’s, and they were often pretty awful, as were Mitsubishis. Not every Japanese compact sold in the 90’s was a CRX or EH Civic.

And a more aggressive camshaft. The cam profiles 70’s engines look more like a rough surface finish than actual lobes.

And the seats. Red vinyl/carpet and grey velour seats? That would have been too much even for the 80’s.

The roofline reminds me of the Buick Riviera. Considering that the ‘65 Chevelle and first generation Riv were some of my favorite GMs ever, a combination of both is pretty fantastic.

I think it’s interesting how the air wing has shrunk over the years - 60 combat aircraft now, when the 80+ surge number was more common during the Cold War. I know the current Hornets/Super Hornets/Growlers are more capable than the previous single mission aircraft, but I can’t help but wonder if the smaller air wing

Was it this line abreast picture?

Edd China would be amazing. Imagine how much better built the challenge cars would be! Ambitious, but rubbish would become not ambitious enough, because Edd can fix anything..

But how else are their 4’ 10” spoiled brat girlfriends going to get into them?

Just be sure not to swerve into Camden. That’s not so much a pothole
as a portal into the underworld.

Seconded. Between the recent articles mentioning the Passat W8, their huge repair bills, and Doug’s experiences with Carmax, I feel a bad car purchasing decision in my future.

I personally prefer the first generation Javelin to the AMX. The few inches chopped out of the wheelbase to make the AMX a two seater threw off the long, low lines of the Javelin.

Why does this guy get a suppressor but no one else has one? I feel like that should be the first thing to buy after a high quality optic, especially for a SWAT team.

That’s what I said when I walked into the Mitsubishi booth at the NYIAS (waaayyy back in the end of the North Hall) and saw that not only did they still sell the Outlander, but Mitsubishi had come up with a updated one.

I see a surprising number of final generation 9-5s in the NYC area. I’m not sure how many Saab made, but I think they did what every immigrant has done - got off the boat in New York harbor and stayed here.

Loyal? Yes. But that doesn’t mean they agree exactly on policy. There’s plenty of room for interpretation of American law and government policy, and I’m sure Iran is similar.

It’s only ok if you buy it ironically and then blog about it, like a certain no-pants-wearing Philadelphia resident we all know and love.

Alternatively, if the seizure was not sanctioned at the highest levels of Iran’s government, then maybe it is a sign of a fracture forming between the country’s political leadership and its hard-line military leadership.

I don’t know for sure, but the Farragut might be the only DDG in the Strait of Hormuz and Persian Gulf. While I’m sure there is a carrier strike group in the area, it might be out in the Arabian Sea.

Is that the radar required to guide the missile, or are they fire and forget once launched in (roughly) the right direction?
