if it still needs $230M to finish, then it’s technically $30M over budget.

Being stuck on a gigantic incubator with people who actively lie about being sick because they paid for a cruise and by God they’re going no matter what? Shit, I’m all about it. Maybe while I’m on the ship it can lose power for a few days or have propulsion and sewage problems. Hell, let’s go whole hog and throw some

Build a massive hotel. Now make it float. $$$

As big as those things are, I am even more impressed that there is evidently a building big enough to build one *indoors*. I have never seen that before.

They should scrap all the rest of them while they’re at it.

That speeding driver just unseated fuckin’ Alex Jones to be the worst person in the news today.

Well, the AAA service is “free” with your membership. Ideally, dealing with AAA would be just like you dealing directly with the towing company. It would have been relatively quick and you get towed, but the cost would have already been covered by your membership fees.

It was sitting just 11 miles away in a salvage yard.

I was always under the impression that you simply couldn’t open those passenger / emergency exist doors while the plane was in flight. Maybe the plastic cover of the door moved a couple inches, but I doubt the door itself did.

Honorable mention should go to the flipper auction of the Maserati MC20 that had been bid to well above sticker price before Maserati corporate flexed some muscle and forced BaT to withdraw the listing.

You know what, after thinking about it a little more, actually often times it IS the engineers’ fault.

9 out of 10 times this has nothing to do with engineering and everything to do with management or department bullshit.

One of the many reasons I love owning a garage. What boggles my mind is how many people in my neighborhood have a garage, but they don’t park in it. They use it to store junk instead.
