I’ve read varying things, some place ‘81 as the start and some place ‘82. I’ve mostly seen ‘81. But the point remains that people in their early to mid thirties are Gen Y by nearly all accounts.

Technically those in their mid thirties are generation Y, which makes up a portion of the millennial generation (Gen Y starts at ‘81 or ‘80 I believe)
