Have we not heard of neo-colonialism and internalization? Jesus. Who cares that they are Black and perhaps that Black folk created this ad. It was created for a mainstream audience, it plays into anti-blackness, and we're sitting here trying to possibly make sense of it by pointing out that the criminal Blacks are Odd

I love that she went back to some pink hair!

Snatch is also no longer streaming tomorrow. And Wigstock. I'm watching Wigstock now, heh. Love Lady Bunny!

So what if they want to make an Annie that has a primarily Black/Latino cast (although in my usage of Black I would be including Afro-Latino's but I figured I should just be specific in case people didn't know).

people want to put rings in salads and pizza??

I love Charmed which made it easy for me to always remember Ginger. it's Geri Halliwell

Haha, I'm happy to 'hear' that :)

At first reading this I was like "Uhm, I'm pretty sure I read some jezzies making a similar joke, and it's a play on a joke from Curb Your Enthusiasm" but then I got to the list of comments from TMZ folk and...yeah. Absolutely atrocious.

I didn't mean that people should't generally be excited and want to give blood. But, when there are tragedies like these it might not be as helpful to immediately run to a hospital to try and give blood. Blood banks are different I suppose, but tons of influx at a hospital when they need the space and energy to attend

Actually, I heard that you shouldn't necessarily be jumping to get to the hospitals to give blood. Call ahead, see if they even need blood donations right now. An influx of people trying to "do-good" might just clog up much needed space and energy that would be better spent helping the victims and those who need to

Part of me wishes I had gone into more details in my original comment but then I'm also like "Eh, would've been a waste of energy anyway".

I was excited to see this article (I always appreciate getting new hair blogs) but then I read the comments here. I remember way way back when I'd be able to say "I never read the comments, except for on Jezebel!". Actually..I've never been able to say that when it comes to race articles

These comments complaining about "WOC" being used in this case are annoying the living hell out of me.

Yes! I hate how that show had me cheering for their relationship because Fitz is such an ephebophile

While this didn't happen today I did just see it this morning

Lindsay looks eerily like the (more recent) Rose McGowan, especially in profile.

Can you also help me out. I hate being invisible, I have't been invisible here for years. I'm developing an inferiority complex.

Ha, I didn't see this comment when I wrote mine.

It always amazes me when people are like "Is it really racist if someone says they don't go for Black guys? I mean...it's just their preference". How exactly is it that people can truly believe that? That they don't like at these "preferences" and wonder where exactly they come from. Particularly in a society that has
