It’s funny because people said that surely Doom was going to be broken and unfinished because they weren’t sending out review copies, but it turned out to be one of the best FPS’s in years.

Thing is, the whole Arkane/Prey thing wasn’t news and your article could have damaged Bethesda. You deserve to be blacklisted by them, and the sad part is — you still don’t see what you did wrong. You cite “I’m a journalist!” as an excuse — you’re not, you’re a blogger — there is a difference. Secondly, there was no…
And that’s why you no longer work for Gawker media.
You can argue for or against it all you want but to call it “pathetic” is just stupid. Why would you want to maintain a business relationship with someone who goes against your interests? It’s not Microsoft’s job to give any fucks about open journalism. Their job is to make money and if they feel controlling their…

Unless you’re going to do a tear-down on it for some info on specs (and at that point we are crossing into far more ethically dark territory), there’s nothing to really be gleaned from it other than a mildly humorous anecdote.
But this is obviously something not meant to happen and if any of that got out that far in advance, couldn’t serious harm possibly be done Microsoft?

Couldn’t really care less about sales numbers, especially in Japan. I buy the console the majority of my friends own, that’s the XboxOne, if they all had ps4s that’s what I’d prefer to game on. Only one friend of mine bought a PS4 over an Xbone, but he is typically a loner with games, preferring to play alone.
