Sorry to hear it, getting towed always sucks. NYC is just hateful towards cars. When you're not stuck on a cross street in traffic, you're getting flipped off by a biker for no reason while nearly missing flattening a jaywalking pedestrian.

I sat in a model S this weekend, it is gorgeous inside and out. Totally unique in ways you would not expect. Really got me thinking about long term car costs, like gas. Looking forward to the next models.
