Ubisoft does have a canon option. Female Eivor is the canonical version of the character. You might be confused by this, considering Ubisoft essentially hid the female Eivor,

Everyone has that one game they dont like, even though many love it. For me its Inquisition. I played 10 hours and was utterly bored by the graphics and combat. Its clearly not a bad game, there were some really good aspects, but it just doesn’t appeal to me in any way anymore.
