The sooner that a person ends it, the sooner the healing begins. Having something this languishing just makes it worse.

“When you had to completely cut off from someone you loved, how did you handle it? What did you do daily to resist just checking in? What did you tell yourself to heal your heart? Thanks for listening.”
Elf products are amazing!

I love Ulta too, WAY better than Sephora. I’m sick of the staff treating me like crap there, and my points vanishing from thier system, and now some of thier stuff costs more than buying it anywhere else.
I did a sleep study - it was an interesting experience. I’ve had the same problems as you since childhood. Unfortunately, sleep studies can only monitor neurological sleep disorders (or at least mine did). And neurologically, my sleep patterns were fine so the doctor told me my sleep issues were more than likely…
I am so confused about why the vows will make a difference, if he’s allegedly not poly...ergo he is cheating?
Cut it off now. The pain is not going to be any better if you wait and the sooner you break it off, the sooner you can find someone who loves you. Maybe telling yourself that you deserve someone who loves you will help. Good luck.
I had one for sleep apnea (turns out I have it- I stopped breathing 36 times an hour according to my sleep study). Depending on the reason for the sleep study, there are a few different types. I had a “split night” study. First 4 hours you are hooked up to eeg type stuff. They try to make it as non-invasive as…
Has anyone tried eyelash extensions? I’m on vacation and they look fun and low maintenance.
I discovered that nail polish is pretty cool at age 46. Wearing Essie’s “no place like chrome” right now. Shiny!
Have you ever tried azelaic acid (Azelex, etc.)? I’ve had serious bouts of cystic acne and azelaic acid was very effective for me.
You must. You must. You must harden yourself and go cold turkey.
It will be ok! Can I recommend two products I love? Pimple Mud from Fat and the Moon, and the Triple Berry Smoothing Peel from Renee Rouleau (which yes, is expensive, but it’s just like getting a professional facial at home whenever you use it). Just try not to pick, and if you must, moisturize to speed up the healing…
I’m super terrified of Ulta now that there are stories showing up about them re-selling used makeup.
If you’re new to it and haven’t developed faves, I would say look into cleaner options/green beauty brands. A lot of them are green-washed, sure, but if you do some research your face (and health) will thank you in the long run :) I recommend starting with Josh Rosebrook’s tinted nutrient daycream if you want a bit of…
Many people have suggested Colourpop, which is amazing for the price, though I will recommend their pressed eyeshadow, over the Super shock shadows. The super shocks can be pretty tricky to work with for beginners and have an almost creamy, moussey texture that tends to dry out. The pressed shadows blend great and…
If you can, go see a dermatologist. And don’t pick at your face! despite the temptation. There are a lot of options. Also zinc supplements might help your skin.
If you’re looking for (or easing your way into) matte lipstick, I highly recommend Urban Decay’s “Comfort Matte” line. I usually hate how drying mattes are, but a recent Sephora purchase of this stuff (in Backtalk, a perfect pink-nude-mauve) has made me a convert. Not drying at all!
